Frauds and Cold Readings

divination2.jpg

Now I am not going to sit here and tell you just because someone charges for a "reading" they are fake. This is NOT the case. Just as doctors, lawyers, heck, even gas station attendents offer a service with thier skills, so can "psychics". I like to call them "buisness psychics". Now although not all are frauds, I would have to say that 9x out of 10, they are.

Here are some easy ways you can spot the fraud from the genunine:

COLD READINGS

A cold reading, is a reading that is very vague in details. It offers much interperatation for the querent (or person being "read" to).
Cold readers like to play on your words, they ask a lot of questions and listen and watch intently to your reactions AS they read.

Cold readings are like the horiscopes in the paper. They could really fit into anyone's life. As an example let's use Money problems. Really, who hasn't had money problems in the past? and remember that this is about all that will be spoken until your reaction comes, "yes, just last week we ran low on cash when we bought..........." the cold reader than plays on these words, and continues on using what you have told them.

Be weary of cold readings. Often you will find "buisnesses" that will give you a sample reading before you pay, it is here that you can tell whether you are going to get a cold reading.

FUTURE PREDICTIONS

Many frauds will tell you what you want to hear....OR what you don't want to hear. If you hear a "psychic" tell you "this is going to happen, no exeptions", they are probably a fake.

As I have stated before, our futures are OURS to shape, not psychics. The guidance that comes is simply that.
Yes, future situations can be predicted but they are most often within our grasp of changing or altering the outcomes.
I have had so many people come to me exclaiming "this psychic told me I would be single forever".
THIS is only the case if you choose. Don't let anyone tell you what your "destiny" is. Our destiny is always changeable.

Genuine psychics will give your reading in a form of guidance, not just spitting out what will happen. We can predict certain situations that will happen, however the outcome is always give with guidance and options.

SPELLS AND CURSES

These seem to come hand in hand with frauds, and I say this as a person who has studied, used and taught this "craft".

This is an extra "money maker" for frauds. Usually within your reading they will tell you you need to be "cleansed" or that you have a curse on you that needs to be taken off. Your warning bell should be going off at this point!. (F.Y.I, a simple bath with lavender is a PERFECT cleansing...costs ya about 3 dollars.)

Spells and curses CAN work yes, however anyone with any knowledge on the subjects would never EVER preform a curse for another person....ESPECIALLY a stranger (what you put out, you recieve back). With spells like love spells ect.....the "true intent" HAS to be present and do you really think that Joe Blow from Psychics r us really and truly WANTS you to be re united with a lost love?
I doubt it!

Stay away from places like this, most "genuine" people, would help you create your own "spell" if ANYTHING.

BY THE MINUTE PSYCHICS

These kind of places you should be weary of. Many of them will deliberatly hold back in their reading just so they take more time. You will find MANY MANY MANY people like this on networks like "Kasamba", I have heard of people giving readings and typing so slow that it takes 3 minuts for a paragraph like this one to come up.

Rediculous!

Many of the 1 800 numbers you find offer "cold readings" as well, and it takes a few bucks before you can figure this out.

Again, there are genuine people out there who work like this, however they are few and far between.

All ways trust your intuition. If a person or site doesn't feel right to you, they probably aren't. Don't be afraid to ask questions about the reader before hand. Just in the way they answer should tell you whether they have the right intent or not!
